Now with advertising

Good app ruined

ads or not to add

True the developer put ads in the free app without warning. Bad plan. But I do prefer the new look, and the supported features better than the old app, and I am not bother by the ads. I use the app on an ipad and there is plenty of screen space. I will keep it for now.

TouchCalc

Im going to delete it too, because I dont like the ads. How,about either telling folks it will have ads or offering a paid one with NO ads

Yes, you can delete the ads

I love this calculator even with the ads, but for all of you that complained you werent told that you could pay to delete the ads, you should learn to read. The description states you can pay to delete the ads and you can, because I did. I like all the different calculator options and the sections divided using colors. Great app for $0.99 without ads.

WTH!!

All of a sudden ugly adds! Deleting. Sad too because I liked this app.

Ads ruined it

Buttons are too small with the ads now. Is it too much to ask for a calculator without ads?

Sine(360) is wrong

The sine of 360 degrees is not zero. They need to fix this.

What a nicely done app!

Ive uninstalled the other scientific calculator apps Ive tried and settled on this one. It cleverly merges several different calculators into one so you dont have to deal with second and third function keys. Setup and preferences is intuitive. Makes the iPhone a good workable calculator for a working engineer.

Too good

I dont know how some reviewers rated it low simply because of the ads, i havent seen any free calculator with so many functionalities in app store

Ads BLOW but….

Great but as every one else has said the adds are a major flaw. I dont want some crappy product when Im trying to do my work. NOW THAT BEING SAID you can pay.99 and remove the ads.

Biggest mistake ever

This used to be my favorite "tool app," then I accidentally updated it. Now the user interface makes me want to vomit and you cant even change the colors back to how they use to be. Oh, and did I mention its now riddled with ads? Bloody greedy developers!

Ruined by ADS

This *used* to be my favorite iPhone calculator, until I opened the new version to find big ad banner across the top. PLEASE, let us do some things (like thinking through calculations) without this assault! Im removing and installing something else. If you guys need $, an inexpensive paid app is preferable to sneaking ads into a supposed "upgrade" for your current (now former) loyal users.

Nice job!

I love it! This program save is to much usualy! I like the calculator (bin, hex, dec, octal). Thanks.

Was good. Now ruined with ads

I loved this ap, and paid for it, and now must suffer with ads? I want my money back. Avoid avoid avoid. These people play bait and switch.

Finally a full featured scientific calculator

This is the last place anyone wants to see ads.

Could have been

Could have been a good utility app, without the ads. :(

Great little app

I paid the .99 for no ads, this calculator is great. Has bitwise operations, which I use often for my CS classes

Ads in a Calculator?!

Really unacceptable to have flashing banner ads in a calculator app.

Simple, Scientific, & the Kitchen Sink!

I have had this calculator for some time now. Various "modes" are: * Simple * Scientific * Bit/Integer * Statistics * Trigonometry * Base/Radex * Time Scientific/Statistics Mode has "Norm/Exp/Eng", "Precision" slider, and a toggle for "Double Operators. Bit/Integer Mode has "Number Bits "8, 16, 32, 64", at the moment. There are "skins", as well (see Preferences > User Interface I put my iOS calc in extras and put this one in its place. I keep on Simple, for default. I have used the other modes (Time is new) periodically, and it hasnt failed me. I felt Alexander Clauss deserved the .99 cents for such a well made tool and his continued service and support! Thank you for continued perseverance with this "Kalkulilo: "pocket calculator!"

Wonderful!

This calculator is excellent! There, however, is a bug when trying to make a number negative.
